Slip resistance

Flooring without slip resistance can prove to be very unsafe and result in very serious consequences.

To eliminate this risk, Citadel offers safe and affordable solutions. We have many systems that increase the coefficient of friction (COF), therefore making it much harder to slip. Our Non-Slip aggregates are available from 240 grit to 40 grit, so no matter the spec we can achieve the right amount of COF. These options conform to all OHSA slip requirements.

Anti-Microbial Additive

Citadel® is the first polyurea floor coatings manufacturer in the world that offers the option of adding Anti-Microbial additives at the time of manufacture.

Anti-Microbial is a silver ion technology which reduces bacteria, mold and fungi, helping to prevent the risk of cross contamination and therefore this is ideal for any hygienic environment. Being incorporated at the time of manufacture, it provides continuous protection and will not leach from the surface or be wiped off or washed away, providing a lifetime of protection for the floor.
